The Garden of Hope.

Each year over 1.2 million women are having an abortion in the United States. In addition, over one million families suffer grief’ losing a child to miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant death. Because the loss of an infant defies the natural cycle of life, families are left to battle through a grief process that few people acknowledge, much less understand. It is the vision of the Garden of Hope to provide a place of hope and healing for these families, whether their loss is recent or many years in the past. In the case of abortion there is an additional element of guilt and they carry their grief alone.
For all there is an opportunity to add a plaque with the name, – or no name, God Knows – of the child. Whatever the reason, people come to meet Jesus, and the healing process can begin.

Near Intercourse* Park is the Garden of Hope.
It is very small, but it helps people cope.
For people do mourn
the loss of unborn.
God heals when they come to the end of their rope.

*Intercourse is a village 10 miles East of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It is in the very center of Amish and Mennonite culture. Watch out for the buggies!
